Modern Wings, Shaker Roots is an exhibition at Hancock Shaker Village, on view from May 29 through Nov 1. My sculpture 8 into 14 is a formwork derived from the Round Barn built by the shakers in the nineteenth century.
I've worked with Short's Brewing Company in northern Michigan since around 2002. I was featured in two of their recent podcasts. One discusses the label I made for their IPA, Huma Lupa Licious. In the second we talk about my work on the Bellaire Brown label. In both I come into the conversation after about 15 minutes.
I will be in Brooklyn on Wednesday, the 29th of October for a poetry reading and music event at Art Lot at the corner of Sackett and Columbia. The event is called Haunted Readings. I will play one song (hauntingly).
