Modern Wings, Shaker Roots is an exhibition at Hancock Shaker Village, on view from May 29 through Nov 1. My sculpture 8 into 14 is a formwork derived from the Round Barn built by the shakers in the nineteenth century.
Imaginary Monuments
I've curated an exhibition at Ortega y Gasset Projects in Brooklyn. Imaginary Monuments includes work by Aimée Burg, Mark Dixon, Thale Fastvold, and Emily Hass. There will be a closing reception from 3 - 5pm on Sunday, May 31. You can read my essay for the exhibition here.
Short's Brewing Company Podcasts
I've worked with Short's Brewing Company in northern Michigan since around 2002. I was featured in two of their recent podcasts. One discusses the label I made for their IPA, Huma Lupa Licious. In the second we talk about my work on the Bellaire Brown label. In both I come into the conversation after about 15 minutes.
Videos in Paris; Readings and Music in Brooklyn
I have three videos featured in the exhibition Jeune Création in Paris opening Thursday, the 30th of October. The videos are from my Long Note series.
I will be in Brooklyn on Wednesday, the 29th of October for a poetry reading and music event at Art Lot at the corner of Sackett and Columbia. The event is called Haunted Readings. I will play one song (hauntingly).
